Bucket List 2018

My 2018 Bucket List & Ideas For You

Hey friends, welcome back!

2018 has officially begun and I am ready to accomplish things this year. I’ve never done one of these before and I’m very excited to start my very first bucket list for 2018!

Mind you my bucket list will be totally different from my 2018 goals. If you want to see what my goals are for 2018, check out my previous blog post → New Year Goals

These could also be ideas if you’re stumped on what you want to add to your bucket list.

So here is my bucket list that I’d like to do in 2018:

Bucket List 2018

Move to a new city

Living in a small town is great and all but I want to try and live somewhere new. Living in Texas, San Antonio is my number 1 spot to live in. The culture. The diversity. THE. FOOD. San Antonio has it all.

I’ve always love to travel but money is tight. I’ve traveled to the beautiful country of Panama to visit family but I want to see new places and be exposed to new cultures. If it’s here in the US, I’d like to visit Chicago, Washington State, New York. Overseas, of course, would be U.K., Italy, Spain, Greece, France, etc. You know just get out there and discover new places.

Go parasailing

Whenever I go to the beach, I’m always seeing people parasailing and IWANNADOIT. I just need to convince someone to do it with me lol. Anyone? Any takers?

Road trip

Road trips are fun, with the right company of course. I’d love to just take a spontaneous weekend trip to who knows where and just have fun.

OOOO this one gets me so excited. So this summer, we’re planning on going to Panama to visit family again and they have the best views for zip lining.

Name a star

I’ve always loved looking at the stars and it would be so amazing to name one. Now the question is, should I name it after me or something else? Lol

Swim with dolphins

Dolphins are my jam. They are adorable. I wanna be their friend. I wanna take one home and put it in my pool. Nuf said. (I don’t have a pool…)

Feed a giraffe and pet a monkey

This has always been interesting to me but I’ve always been afraid of the thought of giraffes wrapping their blue tongues around your arm and just YANKING IT right out of your socket…no?…just me?..ok lol.

And monkeys well…how can you say no to petting a monkey?

Camp on the beach

I’ve gone to the beach at night but camping would make it 10x more fun. Wrapped up in your blanket with a campfire in front of you making s’mores. What could be better?

Get another tattoo

For those who don’t know, I have a tattoo. It’s a flower on the side of my wrist. It was actually a last minute decision to get it when I already had another tattoo in mind. I don’t know why I did that lol. I’d love to get a tattoo with some meaning behind it.

Run a 5K

This is already in the works. In mid-March, I’ll be running my first 5K in San Antonio at the Culinaria 5K Wine & Beer Run. I’ll leave the link below in case you want to know more about it or if you’re interested in participating.

*psst they give you a free t-shirt and food*

Eat at places featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives

I enjoy watching this show but I enjoy eating more lol.

Eating. Drivers, Dine Ins, and Drives

Watch a meteor shower/stargaze

Like I’ve mentioned before, looking up at the stars is a joy of mine. I remember earlier this year, a meteor shower was scheduled to pass overhead where I live, so my mom and I set our alarms to 4 AM to go outside in the dead of night to see the shower. What my mom didn’t know and what I knew is that meteor showers are not as frequent as you may think. The most that you can get is 2 meteor sightings per hour. Yep boring I know but I think it’s worth the wait when you actually get to see one.

Learn a new language

I’m bilingual but there’s always room to learn something new. I’d love to learn Italian. OOOO French is sexy. Maybe Portuguese.

No-budget shopping spree

Every girl’s dream lol. I would like to do this at least once this year.

Shopping spree, treat yourself

Go paddle boarding

I’ll probably fall face first into the water but I think it be pretty fun to do this…paddle boarding not fall face first lol

Grow my blog

It’s my mission to grow my blog and grow my audience. I want to inspire people with the content that I make.

And that’s my list. Some things on my bucket list or more specific than others. And I’ll try my best to complete as many as possible.

What is your bucket list for 2018? Let me know in the comments.

And be sure to share this on social media. Sharing is caring

Until next time, peace Fam. ✌🏽

  4. This post is so timely. Just yesterday, I was thinking that I should start a bucket list for things I should do with my girlfriends. We’d gone to the spa and were talking about ensuring that we do something once a month together – I started thinking of things that we could do. Quite a few things on your list would work great! Paddleboarding, ziplining and running a 5k together just to name a few.

  7. Paddle-boarding is SO much fun!! Would definitely recommend doing it on a lake or quiet river before trying it in the sea! I did it on a quite river in Italy and it was idyllic! Tried it back home in England at the beach and ate a LOT of salty sand… it was *very* windy and the waves were super choppy… so yeah, that’s my advice!!! x

  10. I love making bucket lists, too! Can I recommend a good place for your Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives goal? Big Jim’s in Pittsburgh, PA is a family favorite. Good food and the people are great! If you’re ever in the Steel City, be sure to check it out!

  13. This is an awesome bucket list. I am a huge fan of lists – especially bucket lists. If you can tick off even half of these items this year, you will have had an amazing year. Best of luck with tackling these. I have eaten in a few places featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and I have never been disappointed by one. If you do make it to New York this year, DeFonte’s in Brooklyn was on the show and is one of my favorite places. I would probably eat there every day if my husband let me, lol.

  14. What a great list! My bucket list this year includes traveling to new places with my family, reading at least 20 books, grow my blog, quit my job and spend more time with my family, road trip, and spend more time disconnected from tech and really connecting with my kiddos!

  15. hiiiii 🙂 such a fun post to read! all the best in completing your bucket list, you should consider going to Zanzibar, in East Africa, as part of your destinations to travel to abroad. you can also swim with dolphins there and it’s a beautiful island rich in history and culture 🙂

  16. I’m a huge fan of bucketlists. I’m even signed up to Bucketlist.org to keep my list organized and out there for the world to see. So…one of my items as well is to hold a monkey. I found a place…the North Georgia zoo if you ever decide to road trip there. Wishing you a great 2018.

  17. I love to eat at places from Triple D! They are the best and you find good food and a sense of the local community! On my bucket list, finish visiting the United States. I only have 7 to go, so that tops my list! Good luck!

  18. Great list! The tattoo item could possibly get me in trouble though. Lol. I have 8 already and am scheduled for my 9th this coming weekend. Perhaps I should try something else on he list 😊

  19. You should DEFINITELY pet a monkey! I went to Monkey Island in Colombia last year where they give you a banana to hold, call the monkeys out, and the monkeys climb all over you. SO COOL!!!

I want to get another tattoo this year, too. And I’ve always wanted to name a star! Thanks for the reminder! I was feeling a little exhausted this morning (long week!) and reading all these ideas gave me some energy and excitement for all the adventures ahead this year!
